QuickTime testing and information page

About QuickTime:
QuickTime, authored by Apple Computer, provides a robust framework for working with many forms of media, including audio. The software can be downloaded free of charge from Apple for both Macintosh and Windows computers. Although RealAudio files are provided as an alternative, QuickTime provides the preferred, highest quality audio format in the placement test.

The QuickTime media files used in the placement test require QuickTime 6. For best results please use the newest version of the QuickTime software.

If QuickTime has been correctly installed on your computer, a small player should appear below. When you press the play button, you should hear a brief greeting.
